This cocktail, created by bartender Nate Dumas at The Shanty at the New York Distilling Company, combines Mister Katz's Rock & Rye with scotch, Campari, lemon and grenadine to create a spicy and sweet sour.
- 1 1/4 ounces Mister Katz’s Rock & Rye
- 1 ounce Glenlivet 12-Year scotch
- 1/4 ounce Campari
- 3/4 ounce lemon juice, freshly squeezed
- 1/2 ounce grenadine
- 1 ounce club soda
- Garnish: lemon twist
Add all ingredients except the club soda into a shaker with ice and shake well.
Add the club soda.
Strain into a Collins glass over fresh ice.
Garnish with a lemon twist.
